Hi, I’m Sarah—a mom to three amazing boys and a pediatric occupational therapist. I have seen first-hand the long-term negative impacts when a child "skips" milestones and does not follow a typical developmental sequence.
Our second son faced major health challenges early on. Because of severe reflux and an inflammatory condition, he needed a feeding tube at just three months old. The pain and discomfort made tummy time and rolling nearly impossible, and as a result, his motor and language skills began to fall behind.
When I discovered the power of revisiting foundational milestones—like crawling—it completely changed his development trajectory. By going back to the basics, we helped his body and brain reconnect and grow stronger.
Then came our third baby—born with a surprise extra chromosome! This time, I knew exactly what to do. Using the same developmental framework, we followed each stage of the sequence with intention. And today, he’s thriving—proving that every child, given the right support and time, can make incredible progress.
Now my mission is to empower every parent with the knowledge of why motor and sensory milestones are essential to brain development and how to easily incorporate them into daily life.
Thank you for letting me be part of your parenthood journey!
